Jeremy and Rebecca met in Massage Therapy school in Victoria 2006 and graduated in 2008.  Their tree planting pasts, love for the outdoors, and living life to its fullest brought them together.  They moved to Fernie in 2010 because the mountains were calling and Jeremy already had connections to amazing people he met while taking the  Mountain Activity Skills training program (MAST) at college of the rockies prior to Massage school.  

For 3 years they both worked as Registered Massage Therapists (RMT’s) out of their rental house, physiotherapy clinics, and spas.  It was also during this time that Rebecca became a Doula and helped 45 couples welcome their babies into the world.  

Jeremy and Rebecca had a vision of opening a multi-disciplinary clinic that was run by RMT’s.  They take a lot of pride having created a calming, safe space where patients can laugh and cry and heal.

Thunder Meadows Health & Wellness officially opened in 2013 and has been growing ever since!  Jeremy and Rebecca love this community and are thankful to raise their daughter, Nadia in this amazingly beautiful valley.

We acknowledge that Thunder Meadows Health & Wellness Inc. is located within the traditional Ktunaxa homelands. The Ktunaxa refer to the Elk Valley as Qukin ʔamakʔis, meaning Raven’s Land. 

Qukin ʔamakʔis, is the formerly surrendered traditional territory of Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi’it. The Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi ‘it  is one of several Ktunaxa Nation communities in Canada and comprises 10,600 acres in Southeastern British Columbia.  We recognize that we live and work within these vast lands. Ktunaxa (pronounced ‘k-too-nah-ha’) people have occupied the lands adjacent to the Kootenay and Columbia Rivers and the Arrow Lakes of British Columbia, Canada for more than 10,000 years.
