Leigh-Amber Baxter, Fernie Registered Massage Therapist

In 2014 Leigh-Amber received her advanced diploma in Massage Therapy from Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario. She practiced as an RMT in both southern and northern Ontario before making the move to the Kootenays in December of 2022. She transferred from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) to the College of Massage Therapist of British Columbia (CMTBC) in August 2022.  Before moving to BC, Leigh-Amber had a busy Massage Therapy practice in her home town where she offered treatments to people of all ages and abilities due to the diverse community Elliot Lake, Ontario is. Even working with the Junior A hockey team in town as their Athletic Trainer and RMT. She has taken athletic taping and other continuing education courses to support her treatments overall. She believes that working with you to achieve your wellness goals is top priority as you know your body best. Keeping open communication and changing treatment plans where needed to provide the best outcome possible. Leigh-Amber has two dachshunds that made the move to BC with her and when she isn’t at work she can usually be found doing something with them. Hiking, camping, boating; enjoying all of what beautiful BC has to offer.
